At last the long awaited day of departure had come. Already at 07.00 clock in the morning we got up. While I was washing my hair, my husband picked fresh from the baker Mohnweckerln for breakfast, and daily newspapers. After the leisurely breakfast of coffee and green tea with jasmine flowers, the Mohnweckerln with butter and cheese - and for Robert Half with mother's homemade jam, it came to the conclusion of the case packing. Together, we controlled nor whether I had packed the most important things in my backpack: passports, tickets, money and camera with memory card and the 2 Battery.
Punctual as always we started with the C & K Airport Taxi to Schwechat. My husband and I met about 10 minutes after my parents at the airport and together we asked ourselves the same as the first to switch on the EVA Air. Before us, a young couple was taken out of the queue that have been transferred to the Ouch machine late at night and it was € 300 per person. Sorry we could not solve the riddle of why this couple has just transferred and it has occupied us for a long time.
After checking in we are then quickly passed through the boarding card check in the transfer area and have the Café Johann Strauss at Gates A made comfortable. Boarding time was 12.35 clock to gate A07 and we were able to sit relaxed and we continue to surprise - even the now only hours away - imagine. My father ate his traditional goulash soup and my mother also their traditional "Glücksachterl Rosé" drunk, my husband, as usual, beer - and that it was delicious ham and cheese toast with potato chips and a small salad.
