Twice we went to a restaurant near our hotel - namely, the Big Jim. The first day we enjoyed there a very tasty dinner, and on the second day - after our adventure at the Chatuchak Market a delicious lunch.
We only had to stroll through the shopping arcade of our hotel, a pedestrian bridge and then on a narrow, covered and walk with many business stands covered walkway. Kay and Herbert had made the restaurant a few days earlier finding for us.
Big Jim was a wonderful restaurant. Every once a large table was provided for us, as fans were brought in, so we had some cool air and were immediately brought menus. The menus were thick photo albums in which every dish was photographed and was described in Thai and English.

We see that we can go well we ...
Most ordered fish and seafood, but also the fried rice and fried noodles, soups and curries were excellent.
The owner was very nice and she then showed us after lunch, their little kitten and big cats and two dogs - we have talked with the director also nice and had fun.
