The Chandelier Bar

Each evening was completed by our tour group in "The Chandelier Bar of the hotel - or let us say, the public part of the evening.

We decided each time for about the first big table in the middle of the room - close to the band and at the output.

in the bar a really great band has played, sometimes even with a pretty good singer. The Moon Rock trio had "an extensive songbook from which one could choose songs - and the lead singer then always made jokes about the tip box.

In this bar we had some funny experiences - with other guests, the main waiter and sometimes served with the drinks. The free welcome cocktail was just sweet and not really defined.

has ordered one occasion my mother a Baileys without ice (as sore throat) - which was really sweet. A miracle that the cute Bayley at this time but still was allowed to stand at the table. A real Puppenstubenstamperl - and we laughed the whole holiday.

I once had an "Americano" ordered was very good and normal size.

particularly tasty, and was prepared mainly with big fanfare of "Irish Coffee", the Herbert and my mother offered me. It was funny to watch, as has the head waiter in there enhanced when his assistant several times has the head shaking. Above all, the Irish Coffee was in relation to the other relatively cheap drinks and cocktails.

We have spent many happy hours in this bar and had always something to laugh before we then went to Kay and Herbert on our nightly whiskey with mangosteen.

Info:
"The Americano is a gentle introduction to the bitter taste of Campari. A true classic cocktail, it was around 1860 for the first time in the Garspare-Campari Bar in Milan, Italy, served. The original name was actually Milano-Torino because the original source of the ingredients, but was later renamed due to the massive popularity among American tourists to the times of Prohibition. The Americano by James Bond in the first book - ordered first, but unfortunately was later in the books and films of the normal Martini - - Casino Royale preferred - and above all, the way it is ordered.
