After lunch at the Baiyoke Tower and the short walk back to our hotel, we have also been picked up for our afternoon tour.
With a nice guide it started in an air-conditioned minibus through the midday traffic in Bangkok. The bus took us to a pier on the Chao Phraya. From there we took a longtail boat along the river to Wat Arun - the Temple of Dawn.

trip on the Chao Phraya
The temple was to visit beautiful but it was too hot to climb the tower. Only Robert and Herbert took the trouble to climb up the 66 steep stairs and shoot a few photos from above. Of course, our tiredness beigeitragen has to be the temple only on the surface to see what a great pity is because there would have been even more determined to discover beautiful. The most important thing we were little bottles of drinking water to quench our thirst and to make the heat bearable. Nevertheless, the temple was impressive.
