After a short night we met the next morning in the breakfast room to the first time for a leisurely breakfast before we look at a new adventure in Bangkok made - and it was in the truest sense of the word adventure.
After breakfast, we strolled a bit in the neighborhood, as we had to wait until the open currency exchange office. Then we asked the hotel clerk for two taxis, which are the world-famous Chatuchak Weekend Market;: should bring (or Jatujak Thai จตุจักร). Our intention was actually the taxi to go there, then stroll through the market and to drive with the Sky Train back to the hotel.
But that all changed ...
Anyway, we drove so come hungry for action. In the first taxi Herbert and my parents, Kay in the second, my husband and me. At first everything went smoothly - we followed the first car, the driver Kay compliments about the patience in the Bangkok traffic and made a nice conversation was going on. But then we wanted to bring the driver to specific factories or companies where our sound was harsh and we have just asked the driver to follow the other taxi. Distracted by a particularly funny sign inside the car, our guide taxi suddenly disappeared.

The "conscious" label
replied to our question, the driver only, the taxi was still ahead of us .... then read it to us on a pedestrian bridge ausssteigen as saying that the other person would arrive. I paid the driver with the previously agreed price of 180 baht and hastily he was gone. And we stood there. Stranded somewhere in Bangkok.
First, we waited a while, but as we had already thought - no other taxi came with our family. We then sent my husband to the bridge where he had a better view and he is farsighted anyway, he should find the wanted people quickly. In the hustle and bustle thousands of people but it was not as easy and as we crossed the bridge and eventually all were at the main doorway. But here, too - to identify any familiar face. At that time we were slightly unnerved and thirsty - so we bought every bottle of water and I finally found a couple of hair bands at a booth near the entrance. After a further waiting time we went to the market, through a narrow alley with many T-shirts, and all manner of goods in the middle of a bell tower. Here Kay and I could finally sit down while my husband always patrolling around the tower - but unfortunately, unfortunately, we were lost in Bangkok.

Unfortunately, this tower was not a meeting place for us. My parents and Herbert were also looking after us and have studied various inputs and are then finally made a pilgrimage to another tower.
After a while we gave the wait, however, and are back to the main street walking. There we picked up a Tuk Tuk have, of course, the price negotiated for the return trip to the hotel and drove back with it. Three-wheeled tuk tuks with the small in Bangkok is an adventure.
In the hotel we have set ourselves in the lobby to the bar and bought us a drink. Then we have the comfort of the rest of our Force maintained that then eingetrudelt about half an hour later. My parents and Herbert had also purchased in the market after all, but were too exhausted from searching. However, they have brought quite wonderful pork ribs, which we let us taste the same in the hotel lobby.
Tasty Fried market
My mother really did not want to go to that market, they naturally could only grin maliciously. Nevertheless, it was a very funny adventure - even if we buy less for came, as we wanted.
We mentioned before we went to Big Jim for lunch before the afternoon we shopped around our hotel. And so we have spent enough money.
